Session Fees
A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the session fee is due within 4 days of booking the session to hold the date and time for you. If the retainer is not received in that time, the date/time will open for another client to reserve. N.C. sales tax will be added to the session fees. * Each session fee includes a $75 print credit. If your order is placed within 7 days of receiving access to your online gallery, the print credit is subtracted from your subtotal at the time your order is placed. If the order comes in after this deadline, you forfeit the print credit. Sessions can include the immediate family or up to 4 subjects with each additional subject being $15 each.

• Studio Session - $125 — These sessions will take place in Joy’s  studio location. 1 – 2 hours of photographer’s time and clothing /prop changes.

• On-Location — $175 — This session strictly utilizes the natural surroundings of the location that you choose. You might even just want to use your home (inside or out) as a backdrop;1 to 2   hours of photographer’s time.
  ** If you’d like some “studio-like” images as well: add $25. With the added fee, I can bring a studio set-up to you and set it up in a space in your home. Complete with backgrounds and lights to give you that studio look. We can also utilize any other setting - whether in your home or on your property.  Based on the type of session (newborn, toddler, or family) I can bring age-related props; 1 to 2 hours of photographer’s time and clothing and backdrop/prop changes

• Mini-sessions –Mini-sessions are just shortened sessions. These are 30 minute sessions, no clothing changes or background changes. Includes a min. of 10 proofs.

There are two types:

• Studio $100 - these are scheduled in Joy’s studio.
• Location $125 - This session strictly utilizes the natural surroundings of the location selected. Locations for outdoor mini-sessions will be in/around Knightdale. (i.e., Knightdale Caboose, Historic Oakview Park, Knightdale Nature Trail, etc)

You can upgrade any of the full sessions to a Deluxe Session for an additional $650 and you will receive an custom designed 8×8 mini-coffee table-style album with up to 20 images from the session in it and the DVD slideshow as well as 10% off any enlargement order!

Portrait Plans
VIP Portrait Planners    $400
Join the VIP Portrait Planners Club and receive discounted session rates in addition to other special VIP benefits. This is perfect for baby milestones, quarterly sessions to watch how your toddler is growing, or join just to enjoy special pricing. You can come whenever you like…3 times a year, at any occasion (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, July 4th!   whenever you’d like to capture a special occasion!) If you’d like to use the Portrait Plan for your newborn, it is recommended you come in when your baby is 4 months (holding head up), 8 months (sitting or standing), and 12 months!!

• $75 credit each session
• 3-image storyboard (1 image from each session or 4 images from final session)
• Savings of $125

Belly & Baby Session
This is a double session set, specifically designed for expecting parents. Come in for a maternity session then follow up with a newborn session after your little one arrives. Maternity sessions are best scheduled around 32 to 36 weeks. Newborn sessions should be scheduled as early as possible…at least within the first three weeks after birth.

Standard $200
A Standard Belly/Baby Package includes both sessions, $50 print credit* at each session and 25 custom birth announcements at the newborn session.

Deluxe $695
A Deluxe Belly/Baby Package includes both sessions, a $75 print credit* at each session, 25 custom birth announcements, DVD slideshow from one session and a custom 8×8 coffee-table-style album with images from both sessions to tell the complete story of this special time in your life!

Collages

Collages contain 3 or more images from your session. The artwork can also contain a name, date, etc. I can consult with you on a design. The price includes one set of design changes. Any additional changes incur a redesign fee of $25.
