Little “K” didn’t want to go to sleep. His momma promised he should be sleeping soundly for the session - it took a little secret trick of mine, but he finally got sleepy and we got to attempt some fun poses! But look at that face - isn’t he just the sweetest! Welcome to the world little man!
I always enjoy a maternity session. It means that there is a new little life getting ready to join this great big world. A new little life is being brought into this world because of the love that two people share for one another! It is such an amazing gift and each time this little miracle happens - I’m reminded of the joy I felt when I gave birth to my first child - then my second and THIRD! Nothing, not even time, makes this event anything less than a miracle!
This morning I photographed the first portrait party since the birth of my last child over three years ago. There was a wonderful turnout and I photographed children ranging in ages from 6 months to 9 years. The best part was that some of the ‘furry family members’ also got to jump in a few shots!
I had the honor of photographing this little one this morning. At first she might not have been to keen on getting her portraits taken - but being a model is tough - and by the end she was worn out and we got some of those sweet sleepy images!
For today’s Fashion Friday I’ve dressed a pair of siblings. Both sister and brother can show off their own style without being matchy-matchy -yet still coordinate for those upcoming holiday portraits.
