Just wanted to announce that I will be photographing an upcoming event here in Raleigh. On November 9th at 2pm StrollerFit of Raleigh WakeForest is hosting and sponsoring a Fit for the Future 5K Family Event! This is the first time this event has been held in the area. Save the date and come join in the fun for all ages. All proceeds to First Candle www.firstcandle.org. The event will include Diaper Dash, Kid’s Fun Run (100 yd dash), 1 mile Family Walk/Run, and a 5K. Post race activities, food, prizes, raffle, and give-aways. Family. Friendly. Fun.

Christmas Time is Coming, Christmas Time is Coming…
September 15, 2008I know it is still in the high 80s around here…kinda hard to think about Christmas…but it will be here before you know it…and holiday ordering deadlines are really not that far away.
I’ve created a Holiday Special to help get you in the mood for the Christmas….and get your holiday portrait needs covered! (Holiday Deadlines are posted below!!)
Holiday Session Special - $125
These sessions are short mini-studio sessions geared for getting those few images you need for your holiday card and gifts for family and friends. If you’d like to incorporate a “Sneak Peek at Santa” portion into your session, you just need to be willing to throw on part of the Santa costume for a few minutes! Promise it is painless, and then you get those too-cute-images of your children and “Santa”. (Please let me know ahead of time if this is something you’d like to do during your mini-session.)
The fee includes up to 20 minutes of session time, 1-8×10, 2-5×7s, and 25-custom designed photo cards. (Upgrade to 25 custom designed press printed cards for an additional $25. The press printed cards are sized at 5×7 and are double-sided, printed with a linen finish) ** read extra “gift” if you book a Holiday Mini below!)
Now on to the busniess portion of the deal….
HOLIDAY DEADLINES
- Last Day to book a session for holiday portraits: Nov. 15th
- All orders must be received by Nov. 28th. Orders that come in after this deadline, will be delivered AFTER the holidays.
- Book your session quickly as available dates and times fill quickly!
** In an effort to accomodate as many of my current clients as possible for the holidays, I’d like to reserve full-studio sessions for members of the Portrait Plan, Belly/Baby Plan and Seniors. If you book a Holiday Mini prior to the Nov. 15th deadline, and you still like a full-studio session, you can come back in Janurary or Feburary and your entire Full-studio session fee will be applied as a print credit. This is ONLY valid if you book a Holiday Mini and only good for sessions taking place in Janurary or Feburary 2009.

A new life…and an adult milestone
September 12, 2008This morning I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. N and his mommy and daddy. While he gave us a few little bouts of fuss…there is no doubt he is a sweet sweet little angel! It was a pleasure meeting you all!!!
Then, this afternoon, I went to the other end of the spectrum and photographed Megan for her Senior portraits! A beautiful woman, inside and out…and a with a bright, exciting future ahead of her! I had a great time this afternoon!!!
