It isn’t often I get a family with “big” kids in the studio! It is just as important to capture the “big” kid stage and family portraits at this time…as it is when they are itty bitty! I know it is hard to get the older kids excited about portrait time…but you can still have fun…! This family was great! Lots of smiles!

I had the pleasure of photographing this family at the beautiful Duke Gardens in Durham, NC! It is such a gorgeous place for photographs! I think we all had a good time…although Miss Sophia didn’t like the way Ms. Joy sang and Mr. Tyler was rather serious for most of the session!

Then I got to see little Deacon and his parents again. He is 6 months old! And what a cutie. He was very guarded with his grins…but I was able to catch a few!!!

In an effort to simplify things these days, I have disonnected the studio land line. Who uses that kind of phone these days anyway! LOL

I don’t think many even know about that land line number…but just in case…
