I am excited to announce a new partnership with Think Pink Photography. Founded in October 2007 by Ohio Photographer, Tennille King, Think Pink Photography strives to help breast cancer survivors and their families celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory with a session after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause.

There is no cost or obligation to the breast cancer patient. Think Pink Photography is a non-profit organization. Any profits Think Pink Photography receives through donations or various fund raising efforts are donated to the Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation - a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and assistance to families that have been touched by breast cancer.

Clients participating in a Think Pink Session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as 20 finished prints from the session from me. They will also receive a discount off of any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

OK - here are my 8 “things”

1. I was actually born in Buffalo, NY. My husband loves telling people I am one of “those” yankess…but my family moved here when I was FOUR…so I feel I’m pretty much assimilated!
2. I am a certified SCUBA diver. I haven’t been diving since before the birth of my first childe 5 years ago - but since we’re done having kiddies…next year it is ON! You’ll find me at the bottom of the Gulf Stream!!!!
3. I started at NCSU thinking I was going to be an Engineer…then switched majors to get my degree in Technical Writining…hmmm - now here I am a photographer.
4. I use to be pretty good at writing poetry - won a contest here and there and even got published somewhere!
5. I am a sweet-tea-aholic. (Trying to cut down now though)
6. I grew up on the coast of NC (Morehead City area) and plan to retire there - SOMEDAY!
7. My summer jobs before and during college were lifeguard, swimming instructor, nanny for vactioning families at the beach and Wal-Mart cashier! LOL
8. I can say my ABCs backward as fast as I can forward…LOL
