If you drive by the studio this month - you might notice that I’m no longer there. Don’t worry, I haven’t closed my business…just my retail location. I am taking the rest of this month to pack up and move out!
The decision to close the studio doors was not made lightly. I have become very attached to my little studio space and it has served me well. Recently though, I’ve realized that my time and resources are much more needed on the home front. Closing the studio doors will afford me to be able to dedicate more time to my family…while my children are still young. Don’t worry though, I’ll still be working. My photography business has been very rewarding and I could not let that go.
Given this change, there will be some additional changes on how I offer my services. From this point on, if you would like a studio-like session you can still come to me for that….rather, I will COME TO YOU! I will bring the studio to YOU! I will still also be offering location sessions whether at your home or a location special to you.
For my baby planners and portrait club members, please don’t worry, we’ll still have your sessions, they will just take place on location, either outdoors when the weather permits, or at your home. I can bring a small studio setup to give the look of a studio-session.
Please spread the word that I have NOT closed shop.
I will once again be promoting my Portrait Parties. Portrait Parties take place at a friend or family member’s home, where the children are comfortable. Events are a fun and convenient opportunity to capture beautiful professional images of your children while earning credit toward your own enlargement order!
I will also be creating more Limited Edition Sessions like the one I am holding this month - Portraits in the Park. Limited Edition Sessions will have special pricing and take place on specified days at specified locations. Some examples of other sessions might include Teddy Bears and Tutus, Tea Parties, a Day at the Ball Park, etc. Watch the blog for the special announcements.
