I photographed Miss C. a week or so ago for her 2nd birthday portraits…but Grandma, who lives across the country was in for a visit so we fit in a quick mini-session to snap a few generation photos and portraits with Grandma. The heat was relentless again, but Miss C. was still cute as ever and did so well!
I had the pleasure of photographing these beautiful siblings today at Historic Oakview. I even had to get mom in a few of the images since we all know how little moms get their pictures taken with their kids!
As always, the park is the most perfect place for portraits. And, with smiles like these, my job is made easy!
This morning I photographed the first portrait party since the birth of my last child over three years ago. There was a wonderful turnout and I photographed children ranging in ages from 6 months to 9 years. The best part was that some of the ‘furry family members’ also got to jump in a few shots!
Where does the time go? This is my oldest…sometimes I get to take pictures of my own!! Her 7th birthday is around the corner so it was time for that important yearly milestone portrait. Sniff -sniff - she is looking more and more grown up every day! This is just a few from a quick impromptu attempt we made in the studio the other day. We’ll probably be going back for something a little different…she was my helper this particular day!
This morning I had the pleasure of photographing a little girl in her First Communion gown. This is a special time in her life….what a little princess! I can’t wait until I’m dress shopping for my own little girl next year!
Of course little sister had to jump in for one or two in her special dress! We really had a great time in the studio this morning!
Z. came in for his First Birthday Portrait this past weekend…this man was all business —that was until the CAKE came out!
Sometimes with older children, it isn’t as easy capturing those “real” smiles. But I don’t think we had any problem this day! I had a blast with this family!
